Now that you have decided to form a public company limited by shares this must be shown in the name ending of the company. However, there are 3 ways (i.e. formats) this can be shown. These 3 ways are as shown.

There is no legal difference between each of these 3 formats. It is simply a matter of presentation - i.e. how you would like the company's name to be presented on its Certificate of Registration. Further, even after the format has been chosen, the company still has the flexibility to use the accepted abbreviations, as shown, with or without full stops and vice versa - section 149 of the Corporations Act 2001.
