secretaries · At least one of the company secretaries, must reside in Australia, and therefore must have and nominate, as that secretary's usual residential address, an address in Australia - section 204A(2) of the Corporations Act 2001 · All company secretaries must be natural persons - i.e. not, for example, companies- section 204B(1) of the Corporations Act 2001 · All company secretaries must be at least 18 years old - section 204B(1) of the Corporations Act 2001 · Any company secretary may - but need not - also be one of the company's directors. · Any company secretary may - but need not - also be one of the members/shareholders of the company, and may even be the sole member/shareholder of the company. |
